We’ve been coming to this part of Maine for 15 years and we were always curious about this restaurant. This year, we had booked reservations at a few of our past favorites but were disappointed. When a friend recommended Rogue, we immediately emailed to get a reservation; the owner responded quickly, we went, and now we are fanatics about the place. We can’t wait until next year! The very best meal we had for the entire two weeks on MDI. The food is thoughtful and deeply nuanced. I am still dreaming about the pan seared gnocchi with lightly smoked mushrooms and crispy pork as well as the lavender crème brulee. I had such a great meal from the folks at Rogue. Started off with a delicious mushroom bisque and got the pork chop with this phenomenal plum sauce as a main.
