While the owner of Roksana Gourmet Deli is usually friendly, my recent visit left me disappointed. I ordered grilled chicken from the menu and found a hair in my food. When I showed it to the owner, he was silent and didn’t apologize or offer any compensation. This lack of concern for customer satisfaction was very upsetting. Additionally, the short bearded man working at the grill should ensure his beard is properly covered while handling food to prevent such issues. Due to this negative experience, I won’t be returning to Roksana Gourmet Deli.
I ordered the chicken over rice and noticed the cook wasn’t wearing a hairnet, even though he had a beard. Later that night, I found a hair in my food. The chicken was just okay—nothing special; I’ve had better halal chicken from some food carts on Fresh Pond. The rice was overly sweet and didn’t taste good at all. I also found small, hard chunks that I assumed were bones, which was really off-putting, especially since it was my first time encountering bones in halal food. I definitely won’t be returning.
This place is the absolute best 24 hrs 7 days a week. Not to mention all the outreach and charity the staff and owners do for the community. Now they are extremely humble but late night rather then throwing food away I've witnessed the feeding of the homeless by these guys they'll never admit it but it's a fact. HOW COULD YOU NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT HELPS THE COMMUNITY IN SUCH A SELFLESS WAY!!! GO BUY A SANDWICH NOW!
I didn?t go into this store in two months since last time was bad but now the cashier attempted to over charge me $4. Until I told him to do the math slower. Lol bro I know you trying to pocket tips off of every customer?s purchase. If there was storesecurity for internal affairs you would be fired !!!! But it?s a grocery store so keep doing it. But you lost a customer. Thatwas 3 bad experiences and goodbye.

The sandwiches at Roksana Gourmet Deli are fantastic—generously sized, fresh, and packed with flavor. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, even during the early morning hours. Such excellent service is truly rare!
The morning and afternoon cooks at Roksana Gourmet Deli are excellent! However, the evening and night cooks do not meet the same standard. The menu during the day is impressive, but the quality seems to drop later on.
Discriminating city workers. That isn't fair. Price gouging and charging city workers more! Why?! Never going to this place again. You lost out on dozens of ppl. Believe me, it will affect your business a lot.
They love to please you. Had a mega vegan sandwich with a lot of different ingredients in it.
