Roma - Table reservation

This is a really tiny place (like 6 tables or so , to eat there you will have to book in advance, especially after all the comments on TA. They have a very large selection of pizza (close to 40 and you can always do your own little bit of customizing if you feel like it. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, the crust is thin but does not become a cracker, it is beautifully made and cooked. I took the Italia, the San Daniele was genuine, the buffala was fresh, the basil did add something to the whole experience. My husband’s family, my husband, my little boy and I went to have dinner to pizzeria Roma. They did not want our stroller in the way. Of course we said that for a while we could carry our 5 month old boy but afterwards we would need the stroller next to us in order for us to have dinner. And the waiter (a he) clearly said « no » there is no space for it. For me not only as a mother but as a person this was unbearable and appalling. They lost 4 big menus plus 2 bottles of their most expensive wine plus more visits in the future. The server should be given a huge warning not to speak to clients in the way he did. He made the place lose money, credibility and fame.

This pizzeria has nothing special but I cannot complain either. Food was fine and the staff was also very kind. Wenn we got there it was really busy but we got served without waiting too much

Try the Italia pizza. The best one in Payerne and the surroundings! (don't tell her father, he runs a pizzeria too in Payerne).
