We had a family meeting with seven people in Easter and looked forward to a nice culinary experience in a beautiful ambience. The menu was limited compared to normal days, but with three delicious menus to choose, plus asparagus with all types of add-ons there was more than enough choice to satisfy any taste. I had a Quail terrarine, followed by roasted lamb shoulder, and a Skyr / mixed berries dessert. All these were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The kitchen closes at 9.30, they said when I arrived at 9.30! Thank you for your German hospitality! Of course, everything was polite and smiling, but the lasting impression was done! All they could offer was a frozen "French pizza, and even that took 15 minutes! I had breakfast there in the morning and it was very good!
The restaurant offers an interesting mix of traditional German and French inspired cuisine. Service is discreet, professional and friendly. Wine proposals are on site. Worth the ride from Hamburg. The surroundings are beautiful!
