NO SAFE PROCEDURES IN PLACE FOR SEVERE ALLERGY SUFFERERS Start with the worst a mum of two (toddler and baby) attended in our party and informed serving staff that both have dairy allergy when ordering our food. The mum is a breastfeeding mum (on holiday) and has been avoiding dairy in the time spent with us so as not to pass diary onto her baby through her breast milk. The toddler cannot take dairy now that she is on solid food. Unfortunately for us, the vegan meal was served with carrots tossed/cooked in butter, (which in itself should not have occurred given this was ordered as part of a vegan meal), but which was only noticed at the end of the meal after the toddler started to break out...
Normally my daughter and I go here to eat at least twice a month. We take my elderly father as this is his favourite. We have never in 20 years have had a bad meal until today. We ordered 2 well done steak sandwiches..so the time they came to us was great, however my daughter is 8 months pregnant and cannot eat raw to medium steak..so we sent it back. When it returned it appeared to have been just re seared..she cut into it ..RAW..totally disappointed..however it did not end there..1/2 of my steak wasn't cooked to order either. 3rd time she was able to eat. I have never been so disappointed in romas. However they made sure they charged me the full price of 2 inadequate meals.. won't be back...
The very best service with every visit. The place has such a nice atmosphere and you’re able to enjoy your food with not too much going on around you. Anytime I have visited my food has been super tasty and actually served warm! I always go for the veggie/vegan curried cauliflower burger which never fails to hit! The staff are honestly all lovely, especially Taylor!! Not only good food, but they also do pretty good cocktails and gin and lemonades.
I ordered Scampi, it was nice but could have been more crispy plus it was served with some strange tasting mayonnaise?? Scampi should always be served with tartar sauce, anything else is sacrilege. I ask for tartar sauce, what I was given was obviously out of a sachet and disgusting. I won't be back in a hurry, menu obviously has been changed and not for the better.

A big thank you to Romas staff and management who were outstanding when we hired the upstairs newly referbished restaurant on the 12 July 2023.The food for the return reception was second to none. We will definitely return in the near future. .
Went for a meal with my partner and son. The food was exceptional the atmosphere was relaxing and the service was perfect best experience we have had eating out in a long time. Thank you Romas will definitely be back
Christmas party with work. Food was excellent for a Christmas dinner. Some of the staff were lovely, others clearly not enjoying the season. But it was packed and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
Great food, had the steak, and it was lovely. Had the pavaloia for dessert beautiful. Couldn't fault the service. Me u was great lots to choose from.
