on the afternoon on Saturday, a pub duve was fanned for a late lunch. had not booked, but got a table immediately. not full, but busy enough and great atmosphere. good menu with all pub grub favs. had the sweet soup for starter, south. roasted chicken goujons and chicken caesar salat for net. gluten free options for a set of menus and the server was nice, very friendly. I have the chicken caesar salad and the sides gluten-free. fantastic. thorny rings were perfectly crispy. will definitely be back. cocktails also looked great.
On holiday in the town and had lunch here. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We both wanted the ‘champ’ it was just a case of what have with it. Went for the gammon steaks which were gorgeous.
the first time here for a few drinks after dinner in a nearby restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed, although it was busy, I saw the eating by and it looked good, will definitely try to dinner.
