We have been coming here for many years and after a gap of 3 years, looking forward to coming again. The place has doubled in size since our last visit, but that is not the only change. The food was average at best. Our orders were taken wrongly which meant me and my sister in law had to eat ours after the other 5 in our group had finished. This was not reflected in the final bill. Previously the food has been prepared and cooked with care, this time the Lumberjack pork steak was dry and tough, my son said his steak tasted like a supermarket one and my wife's lamb skewers were lacking taste and sauce. What a fabulous restaurant. Friendly staff who were incredibly helpful A young enthusiastic and helpful owner. Delicious food. And nice blankets..a lovely touch on a cool spring evening. We watched the sunset as we ate a selection of meat, fish and pasta dishes washed down with a yummy red wine. The mini cheese calzone starter was a big hit. Thoroughly delicious and highly recommended.
