I've been patronizing this place for 4 years, but the past two times I've gone, they've gotten my order wrong. Although they seemed happy to remedy their mistake, the corrections were terrible. The last two times I've gone, I ordered through the take away window, and both times the girls got my order wrong. The first time, they fixed my order, but gave me the worst sushi roll I've ever had in my life. Tonight, another girl got my order wrong, corrected her mistake, but I just so happened to find a strand of her hair in my food? You want to come here! I had such a wonderful time here. The hostess was so nice and well dressed. Our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions. The atmosphere was my favorite part (aside from the food). On to the food, they have a great variety of options for a lot of dietary restrictions and preferences. The portions as great. You are getting just enough to be able to try a little bit of everything and not be super full. They have spectacular mocktails! If you’re in the mood for good sushi and good vibes, come here.
The way they treated me as solo diner was kinda mid… portions were extremely little…idk…very quick to leave so I had to keep waiting to let them know each tome they messed my order up (twice)?? smh not the worst ever but not the best at all. Don’t recommend.

Food was delicious. Service gave just enough attention and was knowledgeable about the items served. Low lighting and chatty vibe if you're into that, which I am. Cozy enough but with some life.
Changes were made during the global supply chain crises, aka Sriracha shortage, took the SIDE of a spicy mayo price here at Ronin in Royal Oak from $2 to $4 for a single side. Wake up owners.
The food here is consistently excellent every time I visit. I come to town for work every couple of months, and this restaurant is always on my list of places to eat.

Truly excellent sushi. Quality was 5+ stars. Our waiter wasn’t the best but the food was well more than worth it to earn this place 5 stars. Great Sake menu also.
