One of the slowest service restaurants I can recall in some time. They claim to open at 12 for customers but asked our party of 5 to wait 10 minutes to start. the brunch menu was very limited and we were told that we could not offer off the dinner menu with a long wait. While we got our drink orders on time we waited 45 minutes for 2 omelettes, one beef stew, one crabcake egg benedict,etc ... none of the food served hot nor simultaneously. And the place was empty. I would only return for dinner perhaps- but not for brunch again as better service and value in a diner.
This was our second visit to Rooster. Someone in the kitchen really knows what they are doing! The food was very good this time just like the last time. We both ordered the roasted salmon with honey mustard sauce and it came on a sizzling platter with some lovely veggies very, very good. It's a very cute place, too!
there was no wine list, some of the plates were either over season or under season. the restaurant was empty. Maybe it was too early when a family arrived about 1 1/2 hours after our arrival, but it was very to me. the service was excellent, but it should be because we were the only table.
The food was cold the server was not very friendly. The plates were dressed up nice but lacked the flavor to ever make my wife and myself come back. I would not recommend this place. Also, the prices are way too high for drinks and food for A below average establishment.

Eclectic menu for sure. I would almost say the mix was a little too different. With that said, everything we ordered was excellent. We stayed within the Latin side of the menu and it was all delicious.
Never a problem getting a table, went on a Friday night and the place was pretty quiet. Meals take a bit of time to get to the table, hate to see how long the wait would be if the place was jammed!

Unfortunately, my second visit here was very unimpressive. Cold appetizers, subpar drinks, woobly tables, etc.

terrible. They served me a warm, flat beer. we left before we order food. avoid this place.
