I have visited Valbonne several times and up until a couple of years ago, I knew only of the 'Queen 's Legs ' which is about the furthest thing from a genuine Irish pub! Thank god for the crew at Roots for making a cosy, welcoming, unpretentious but top quality pub with a fantastic atmosphere and a smiling welcome from the owners and staff! the night we went, there was an impromptu jam session happening with some amazing musicians! We were in our element, and from chatting to the friendly regulars there, this sort of magic evening is par for the course! Cannot wait until our next trip so we can enjoy a few more days and nights at Roots!!

ideal for beer fans but also wine, the two specialties of the place. the interior makes small Irish pub, in warm wood, as well the outside with the barrels made bar to taste a good wine. I went there only once, but I look forward to going back. The waitress was so super nice.

This small pub offers a huge welcome! Good choice of wines, a selection of beers on tap and regular live music. Highly recommended!
