Roots Lamarca - Table reservation

This is the worst place I’ve ever been, with a very rude staff. I went there once long time ago, and I ordered a juice to take away. It was expensive, the taste was average, but ok I didn’t expect much. They have a great location, and place from the outside looks fine, and because I’m often in this area, I decided to give them another chance. While ago I ordered a bowl with pasta, tofu and some veggies. It was uneatable, without any taste. It’s like if you give some ingredients to a 5yo and tell them to prepare something. I’ve eaten at Roots very frequently these past few months, and I’m definitely a fan overall. The food is nutritious, filling, and fresh. Great sandwiches bowls. Great coffee matcha. I don’t recommend the smoothies, personally I find them very overpriced for what they are. Prices here are generally high, but I personally think it is worth it given the quality and ambience. The baked goods are hit or miss, keep in mind that they are vegan and generally gluten free to keep your expectations realistic. I adore the banana bread, but you gotta go into it knowing it’s vegan, GF, and free of added sugars. As a lover of healthy desserts that don’t leave me feeling like I’m about to have a sugar crash...

Excellent and most healthy and clean food available in Madrid. We had lunch there almost everyday. There are many types of rich salads vegan and non vegan available, including Acai. Great service and atmosphere.

A bit pricey but really tasty and freshly made food. The staff were super friendly too.
