We came to celebrate Christmas my friends birthday we had a large table for people in a nice booth under the stairs. We ate of the festive menu which was fab! Will be back again soon with the husband!
Visited here after a walk round Dunham Massey and this is such a lovely cosy pub. The Sunday dinners were really nice, as was the sweetcorn fritter I had for a starter. Would definitely return.
Very busy good atmosphere food really nice staff really friendly what else can you ask for, also guy behind the bar really friendly and pleasant.
Had a great meal at the rope and anchor, good price for the food and drink. Lovely pub, an a lovely area. Service spot on. I WILL return. stars
