We went to dinner today and chose the light restaurant, as we were not looking for the gourmet experience in the more demanding upscale taxacher restaurant even at the hotel. The price was definitely in the Relais Chateaux level (190 Euro for two people) but the service and the food were not: the bottle of wine (from a very good wine menu) was opened in the backstage, the waitress could not speak any English (which is not common in the R.C hotels), the service in general was bad (friendly, but under the expectations: plates were quite a lot to us handle) and the food was also quite averaged. Small and decent menu that comes from the same kitchen as Simon Taxacher, but in a simpler environment. Service was a bit chaotic and probably not enough staff was available. Still food is top
