The restaurant itself is good. Today we were with the extended family in the new hut above the restaurant. It was the ultimate nightmare. The table was reserved for 12 p.m.! The hut was full and overheated. We got our food served after two hours with the staff being totally overwhelmed. All guests waited at least two hours for their food! How can a restaurant accept so many reservations when it is almost impossible to manage, hard to understand. That was the last time...
Wir haben uns spontan für die Rote Mühle entschieden ohne Reservierung und obwohl es super voll war, hat die Bedienung uns noch einen Platz frei gemacht ! Super nett, obwohl es scheinbar schon mit den Weihnachtfeiern los geht... Wir konnten gleich bestellen und das Essen kam super schnell und hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. (Ich kann die Ente empfehlen) Kurz gesagt: sehr schöne Location, leckeres Essen und wirklich super nette Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder.
My apple pie was a small, square slice. But otherwise, everything was fine. The service was very attentive and found us a table even though it was very busy again. We were only there for an hour. If you're looking for a quiet spot, this isn't the place for you. When it's full, it's quite noisy, as the restaurant is located in one room. It was okay for us, though.
Food was ok except for the mushroom sauce, which unfortunately had bad physical consequences. Ambience nice and quaint. It was also very nice outside with the Christmas market including a DJ, but unfortunately without visitors. Service was nice, but unfortunately inattentive and stressed after ordering the drinks. No, I can't recommend this restaurant. The waiters ignored us, even though we repeatedly called for our attention. We never ordered anything. After about 45 minutes, we left, and even this wasn't noticed.
Sehr schönes Ambiente, gemütlich wie in einem Biergarten. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Essen war gut und eine Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten ist vorhanden.
A very nice restaurant with great food, very friendly staff, and plenty of parking. I'll be back.
