As there are few options for Sunday dinner we booked this place without really knowing what to expect. It's a real French slice of life. No menu you just go to the counter and order and what arrives is a platter bearing a whole chicken and a mountain of chips. We also ordered bread and salad. Wine and beer are available we had a great local rose. The rotisserie was working overtime as plenty of people turned up just for takeaways. It was lovely to sit at a picnic table beside the river and eat such delicious, simple and very cheap food! Highly recommended but you probably need to book and be able to communicate in French.

the frame is simply great, just a step away from the river l'eyre where it is possible to make canoe and bathing. The open-air roasting room offers for us 2 today: half roasted chicken, fries, beer, tonic and half baguette for 16 euros. We then have only the embarrassment of choice for our table under the trees. Chicken and fries are good and we have a nice time. This roasting also offers other formulas on reservation and for groups (3 to 24 people) like: pig, shoulder and milk custodian ... what to bring together family or friends for a pleasant moment! Moreover, good reception by the whole young team.

Chicken really really great, super reasonable price. No chichis, we come to eat chicken, though. no room for gluten-free or vegan. If you want sandwich or salad, don't go into a rotisserie...and to answer some opinions that find the unpleasant boss, I specify that it's a business. I'll be the boss, I'll be really tired of seeing people squattering my terrace, while I'm here to work. But if you want chicken in a great setting, it's the right place.

We stopped here after paddling down the river. It's convenient location and quick service convinced us. The food was ok (haphasard pieces of roast chicken, not necessarily the best). For 2 menus we got only 1 wing and no drumsticks. The fries are good. For desert we stuck to ice cream to avoid dissapointment (and the ice cream is good). They don't accept credit cards. No table service.
