Rouge - Table reservation

Well I was really excited about this restaurant given the reviews and published articles. We moved to Calgary a few months ago and it was our first date night out with a babysitter looking after the kids so I was looking forward to a very...special evening with my wife. The location and setting are as described elsewhere, lovely. We opted for the the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing since this was a once in a quarter event. The amuse bouche was nice. The tomato bisque was interesting best part of the tasting menu. The foie tarte, that I was very excited about, a came with a caterpillar in my wife’s case, and b since she was gagging and I elected to finish hers as well as mine, was truly...

Excellent go-to for a great evening out. Typically we have the wine pairings with the tasting menu. There is only been once in all our times going where on dish was a bit lacking (braised beef . But, without hesitation, they provided another dish which was...the duck confit (super awesome amazing dish!!! . Definitely recommend as a romantic, high-end Dining location in Calgary.

You always want the best for your daughters wedding and we had the best. The servers, food quality and value, facility and property all were fantastic. Don't hesitate to book handled our 85 person with professional ease.

Overrated we took the tasting menu and were disappointed all along... the worse being a piece of sweaty gruyère suisse cheese supposed to be a course. We won’t go again.

AMAZING DINNER experience . we took the tasting menu with the wine paring and it was wonderful . also staff members super nice and helpfull
