Mattie is extremely rude with awful customer service skills. Their crawfish is excruciatingly HOT and really not suitable to be served to the public as hot as they are. If you have an issue with them they refuse to allow you to get something else and claim that they are directed by management not to accommodate the customer when ordering crawfish. Went there with my wife and some friends and family to celebrate one family members birthday. We probably a party of 13—14. The service was great. For the amount of people we had the waitress did very well. Atmosphere was ok, nothing to crazy and the food was good as well. For my appetizer I ordered the hot wings with were delicious! I've visited this restaurant several times with coworkers, friends, and family. The food is consistently excellent, and the portions are generous. Tonight, I tried the boiled crawfish for the first time this season; they were juicy and well-seasoned with a nice kick. Plus, they have $3 margaritas on Tuesdays!
This was my second time at this place. The first time was just okay so we decided to give it another try. The food is very mediocre and not worth the price. Service is mediocre also. There are so many other seafood/grill places in Baton Rouge that would blow this place out the water!

The food was uniformly good for our lunch bunch of 8 and attractively served. Very attentive waitress. My caesar salad was not huge like other places and I was able to finish it and it was drenched in dressing. Friends had huge satisfying platters of oysters.
Pretty good food great service. Nice atmosphere. And not too pricey. Wife liked her po'boy which was a half shrimp po'boy and see it was a nice sized sandwich. I had the roux burger…it was a good burger but nothing to rave about. I would recommend Roux 61
Everything was absolutely astounding, from the service to the food. We had an absolutely wonderful New years Eve, anniversary and birthday celebration.
