Myself and my mother thought it was a good idea to go for the afternoon. there was a groupon credit for happy days seemed reasonable so we thought we would go a bit. after the arrival the caffe was dead and it looked good. so we sat down and we were presented with a small glass suppe. one had a layer of fat and no spoons. I went to the park today with a workmate and our children. My daughter needed to use the toilet, and we understand with kovid, they need to be careful about people they use. I was told that they would not allow her, even though she was absolutely desperate, unless we were mistaken. I said I would buy something happy, but then it was informed that their card machine didn't work. My son, myself and my dog went to the outer part of this cafe and decided to order some food to take away and eat in the sun, when I placed my order the girl basically looked through me and didn’t hear a thing I...said, I then had to repeat the order. Once I got the food afteraybe about minutes I decided to order a hotdog without the bun for my dog, I have done this from different food stands and they have always been very accommodating and usually don’t charge a full price, well when I made this request at the rowantree the girl looked at me like I was crazy, the other guy told her to charge me a full for just the hotdog on its own and the three people behind the counter all thought it was...
Came at and tried to order a bacon roll to take away, was told they stopped serving breakfast items at no mention of this on the menu, infact the breakfast items weren't even seperated from the rest of the items on the menu!...Instead I ordered a tuna panini and burgers with a bottle of water, was charged through the nose for this then the young, clueless male informed us that as lunch time was just starting we would need to wait for the equipment to heat up. when on Saturday after a day in the park it was, but they obviously remain open until a suppe order a burger and a fish and chips as well as some drinks drinks arrived and we wanted and wanted and mini the only in the caffe went up to ask the coworkers to look at and ask what the order was. it was not apparently placed in the kitchen in the plan place. so its fine if you want to stay minutes with a glass of water and a lemon aid. but the workers are in a position to get their dinners and to end them in the time we wanted. has received a full refund, but no apologies for the fact that we are sitting there all the time without asking us if we were in order.
I ordered a cone for my big children, my daughter and me. the cones are small. the dame presented me the cones and the children, as I produced my bank card she oh I'm sorry that the bank card. We only break cash, I explained that I didn't only have cash for her to remove the cones immediately, while the children watched and the iced flicker into the tub. every decent person would have given the children their cone and I could have paid them the next time I visited the park regularly. bad show....the children started crying and said they wanted a cone. definitiw will no longer be custom.
Cafe was very busy when we arrived, so obviously very popular. We found a table and sat down to look at what I would describe as an extensive' menu. I finally settled on a fish finger wrap and my fiance choose the all day breakfast....Order was placed and then we had to wait abt before our food arrived but this is to be expected as they make everything from fresh. Fiance thoroughly enjoyed his large breakfast as I did the wrap, which was served with a fresh side salad. Prices reasonable too.
Popped into Rowantree Cafe for a coffee. Lovely welcome and fab service from a very cheery and helpful young lady called anne. Even although she was busy she took time to make sure we were happy. Made our day.
