Really disappointed in the Royal Tandoori last night. It was my friend's and we gave them a cake to bring out after the meal. One of the staff came over and asked how many for cake? before cake was presented, and proceeded to put out small plates! I took her aside in absolute amazement and she said they didn't realise it was a surprise. Seriously, when is a birthday cake NOT a surprise?! She completely ruined the moment and didn't even apologise when she saw me visibly upset. The food was ok but I would seriously avoid going here if it's for a birthday as these guys have no idea

I and my friend had a great experience here. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We are not bad at all because it was Valentine's Day. that was wonderful. we enjoyed every second and was well worth the price deffo recommend
Curry sauce was really watery, meat over boiled, lack of Indian flavors. the party of four and all meals were disappointing. restaurant cramped and service bad. I'm staying with pappadams that are never disappointed.
