The food here is quality. If I was a chef, it would drive me to the brink the lack in service skills found in the Gold Coast. So really, if you are comparing only the Gold Coast to other Gold Coast restaurants /cafes - we have a standard cafe here. You order your food at the counter, which must mean you take any seat you like as we stood at the door for sometime before being acknowledged, and service is not required. While wandering through the Big Burleigh Arcade, I stumbled upon a new café that has become home to a variety of unique businesses. Seeking refuge from the intense January heat and humidity, I decided to pop in. I quickly scanned the menu and opted for an Iced Coffee to cool down. Despite some confusion from the staff about my order, I eventually got my drink - complete with an extra charge for ice cream. Although the beverage was refreshing, I found the menu to be a bit too trendy for my liking. The lack of air conditioning or fans made me feel uncomfortable, and I later learned that the owners are from Wales - perhaps explaining the absence of Iced Coffees on the menu. This morning, I had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. I ordered the smoked salmon on rye with smashed avocado, seeds, locally sourced feta, and smoked salmon. It was delicious. The smoked salmon was cooked perfectly and the best I've ever had. The price was reasonable and the food tasted amazing. The use of locally sourced ingredients really made the meal stand out. My partner and I also had a green fresh pressed juice, which we both agreed was the best juice we've had since moving to Queensland. This hidden gem in the arcade is definitely worth a visit. This place is a standout in the saturated cafe industry on the Gold Coast. They go above and beyond in every aspect, from friendly and helpful staff/owners to delicious and varied food to making it easy to spend hours there getting work done. The potato rosti stack with mushrooms is amazing! They stock blackboard coffee, a local roaster. They have free wi-fi and lots of power points available (it's beyond me that any cafe wouldn't have this, but shockingly, most do not). The outdoor seating area feels like a parisian avenue. Absolutely everything you want in a cafe and definitely what had been missing from the Gold Coast.

Visited for brunch with a friend. Was interested in trying something on the menu with their charcoal brioche bun but sadly they had sold out so opted for the nourish bowl. Fresh ingredients and perhaps over simplified. 6 ingredients simply placed next to eachother, lacked pizzaz but if you are after fresh, quality simple whole food this is the place. Service was very slow but we had a table outside and enjoyed the sunshine, with nowhere to go in a rush, was not a problem.
Employ a qualified women with a disability such as epilepsy which is medicated then kick her to the kerb for no good reason, no menu copy I assume she was asking questions as she was in doubt. Bad service and bad comments behind backs. Clean place when stations are clean and at the end of the day. More communicating needed and less samples and trials.
I had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant. The menu offers a great variety of options, and I look forward to returning to try them all. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. They also provide free WiFi and power outlets if needed. I highly recommend the potato rossi stack, as it was delicious.
Dined here with friends for lunch. No negatives. The food was delicious and there was a great selection of drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Service was very friendly. Highly recommend the pork belly burger. Will be back.

Barrista takes 5 mins minimum to make a single coffee and then burns the backside out of mine to an undrinkable level because I asked for hot -- after being a barrista myself for over 10 years pretty sad effort
Lovely environment, great food but food delivery to the table a little hit and miss. Had to follow up on missing items which sort of spoilt there enjoyment of the coffee and food.
