Whether it was from online testimonials or word of mouth, Ruby Slipper Café always gets rave reviews. The expectations I had as I walked in were sky high, almost at the point where I didn't think it could live up to the hype. Thankfully, it absolutely did! From start to finish the meal was exceptional. Started with the mimosa flight which offered 4 different flavors, all of which were refreshing and tasty. Also tried the boozy coffee which if you like coffee and vodka, yep, that's a drink for you. Be careful though because 2 of those will kick back. For our meal we ordered three dishes so that we could sample around a little of everything. We ordered the buttermilk biscuit sliders duo, break...

We came here right when we landed for breakfast, then came back right before our flight out! This was our favorite breakfast place we tried. The wait wasn't really long (about 10 minutes) and our food didn't take too long to come out. We tried the crawfish cake, blueberry lemon stuffed French toast, omelette, French toast bites, pancakes, and the bayou shrimp Benedict. The crawfish cake was seasoned great. The French toast was a bit sweet with all the flavorings all over it, and they could have done without the sprinkles, but it was still good. The sauce that was on the Benedict was to die for! Seasoned to perfection and I've never had a sauce so good! The omelette was seasoned so well and s...

The staff at this restaurant is outstanding. Everyone welcomed me warmly as I walked to my table and again as I left. The Bloody Marys were both spicy and delicious, and the Mimosas were equally enjoyable. The drink portions were quite generous. I thoroughly enjoyed the Southern breakfast, which featured a fried green tomato along with the classic eggs, bacon, grits, and biscuit—a delightful twist! The Bananas Foster pain perdu was very good, although I would suggest soaking the bread a bit longer. I consider myself a pretty good French toast maker! Overall, I had a fantastic experience here, and I'm really impressed by the size of the new restaurant and its parking lot! I can't wait to come...

This restaurant genuinely offers some of the best seasonal dishes in New Orleans. Their variety of eggs Benedict is outstanding, and the combination of hot honey, chicken, and French toast is amazing. It's a perfect spot to take out-of-town visitors because many of their dishes truly reflect the essence of New Orleans, like the crawfish and grits! I've also found that it has become a Sunday favorite for my family because the food is consistently delicious. Book a table now

This is a must have in New Orleans for breakfast. There are a few located in the city--the French toast bites are crunchy and deliciously coated in cinnamon sugar. The candied bacon is another must try. If you get nothing else get those two items. I loved the theme of the restaurant and the food was amazing.

The atmosphere was fantastic—comfortable, clean, and stylish. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and accommodating. Best of all, the food was AMAZING. As a tough critic of culinary experiences, I found Ruby Slipper Cafe to be more than satisfying. I will definitely be returning on a weekly basis.

"Btea offers an exceptional solo dining experience that elevates home cooking. Our brunch was outstanding, and I would return frequently just for the cookies and gravy. The fried green tomatoes were a unique and delightful twist on a classic dish."

The service was really good I unfortunately forgot our servers name. The pancakes are more of a dessert than a meal because of how sweet they are. Cinnamon chunks were good but there's a spicy syrup it sits in
