The location is perfect to combine a nice walk in Greenwich Park (weather permitting) and an improvised break to have a slice of cake as a treat. If you don't go there too late in the day, they'll have many gluten-free options, otherwise it could be a bit limited. There is the option to eat inside or in their outside seating area – if you’re lucky to find a spot in the sun, or you can take it away (a bit cheaper as no service charge). I like their classic victoria sponge cake, but I find most of their cakes a bit heavy so a small portion is more than enough. They can also cater for occasions like birthdays, weddings etc.
So many tasty cakes and I really enjoy their quiches too. I tried a schnitzel in a bun once and it was excellent. I’ve been going since they were a market stall and now they’re in a lovely little cafe.
The cupcakes here are divine! Recommend the brownie one, you get a bonus brownie on the top. Updated from previous review on 2024-01-03
Definitely worth a visit, the milkshakes are amazing! Lots of goodies at a good price. And it's 100% plant based!
