While dining at this restaurant, we had a great time and were enjoying ourselves, but unfortunately we were asked to leave abruptly. As we were leaving, the owner loudly used inappropriate language towards us, which was very disappointing. Despite this, the bar staff was friendly and we were treated well, although we were having a good time. Unfortunately, due to the owner's behavior, one of our friends became ill and had to leave the establishment. This was unfortunate and may have been due to the owner's lack of professionalism. Trip down memory lane with two very tired children in tow to Mummy’s university town. Dropped into Rummers, having told them how much I used to enjoy the place back in the day before google reviews. It was very quiet on a chilly wet afternoon, but as beautiful as it ever was, with the perfect combination of traditional and quirky. The staff on duty today could not have been kinder. Lovely drinks and delicious food, and the boys were offered crayons and paper, and were even allowed to play with their new toys in the sawdust on the floor. This was my first visit to the restaurant and I found it to be a nice venue. However, they need to work on getting the patio heaters functional. The price per person is typically between £10 and £20. The service and atmosphere both received a rating of 4.

The bar is fantastic with a live DJ, highly recommend it. I give the service a 5 and the atmosphere a 5 as well.
