For starters, we tried one of each option: an arugula salad, a Caesar salad, and the lobster bisque. Both salads were excellent; the dressing was flavorful, and there was a pleasing mix of crunchy and soft ingredients that created a nice texture contrast. However, the lobster bisque was disappointing — it had a slightly bitter taste and lacked depth. For the main course, the default steak on the prix fixe menu is a 6 oz filet, but I opted to upgrade to an 11 oz for an extra $23, which was definitely the right choice! When we arrived, there was a couple ahead of us while they were seated, we stood there for a bit without being acknowledged which I find is a bit unusual for a high end establishment. It was really nice being sat at a round table. Non-Asian restaurants don't use these enough but I love these as you can interact with everyone. Came here on a Thursday with my family and cousins family on a Thursday and it was quite busy. Ordered the crab cakes, caesar salad, the porter house, ribeye, one kids meal and lots of sides for the toddlers (Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and French fries). I came here for dinner to celebrate a special occasion recently. The decoration and ambiance were nice. Food was mostly with decent quality but expensive. Service was a bit slow. We ordered a few Ruth's classics combo with appetizer, main and chocolate cheesecake. The stars were the arugula salad and the steak among all dishes. Appetizers: Both the Caesar salad and the arugula salad were perfectly flavoured. The coutons were stale though. The lobster bisque was not yummy. Quite watery taste. I would not recommend this dish. Tonight was our son’s high school graduation night. We celebrated with some friends at Ruth Chris. Our server Chris was exceptionally pleasant and really created a friendly and celebratory atmosphere.After a fairly long ceremony, we were all famished, and the freshly served bread and savory butter helped quench our immediate hunger. The graduation menu was fittingly perfect for the occasion. The appetizers were delicious and moreish. The lobster bisque was creamy and tasty. I came here for Winterlicous 2023 with a party of 2 and had a wonderful time. The ambiance and service were excellent, and our server Paul H. was very kind. We had the caesar salad, 6oz filets, mashed potatoes and mushrooms for our meal. For dessert, we had the bread pudding and the chocolate sin cake. Everything was cooked to perfection, including the starter of warm bread and butter. I'd say for $75, this 3 course prix fixe meal was definitely worth it as the cheapest steak on their regular menu is $74.
Excellent service, high quality of food with huge portion. Not a lot of choices on the menu but good enough to choose. I have been there a few times and still have not tried everything because sometimes just want to repeat the same purely because it was so good. Book a table now
We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Ruth’s Chris today. The food was amazing, our steaks were perfectly cooked and the service was top shelf. A special thanks to our lovely server Nicole for a perfect evening and the best service! We’ll be back!
