I had never heard of ruth until my daughter bought a gift card for my wife and I bought. she sent a 150 card that deserts our meal and an additional to bring home. I was a bit skeptical when I discovered it was a chain restaurant, but was hopeful. all I can say is that I am glad I didn't have to pay for the meal. eating was at best mediocre. I had a ribey and kartoffel. the steak was cooked as ordered and was in order. I'm still not sure if they weren't ready. very inspiring meal. my wife had a filet and she likes her flesh well done, so it is not surprising that her steak was not very tender. but she had filets on other places that were amazing, also well cooked. We did not get seated for almost 40 minutes after our reservation time. Not sure why but it looked as if they were short wait staff for the peak dining period. Bar staff took care of us in the meantime. My dinner was great and cooked perfectly — the New York Strip. My wife ordered the tournedos of beef topped with shrimp. The shrimp and beef were as dry as could be. Not good and obviously not something to enjoy. Once we did finally get seated, our waiter was absolutely great but know the restaurant at that point had started emptying out— as were the last to leave the restaurant.
my family came here to celebrate my parents 36 high-time 2 29. there was a present on the table for my parents when we arrived. our waitress was wonderful and also met my parents' anniversary. it was great to celebrate with my parents on their exact high-time day on this wonderful place.
35th Wedding Anniversary. We were greeted by the Manager on Duty. He walked us to our table and departed with congratulations. Our server was very attentive and professional. Perfect dinner.

our server had a huge party to take care of both of us. probably 10 people. she apologised and did the best she could, but it wasn't the culinary experience we were looking forward to.
My wife and I went for her birthday and the service couldn’t have been better. The food is was amazing steak was superb. Truly a delight dining in this establishment WILL be back!
Probably having a bad day. But management missed an opportunity to step in and take care of a bad start. we waited 45mins for our table. reservations for 7:30pm seated at 8:15PM
We had an amazing meal! I Definitely recommend the truffle butter topping to the steak!! Lyonnaise potatoes were fantastic!

clear glass windows in the main kitchen room ever allows car lights to shine directly in us. no pleasant experience.
