Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I ate at the Westport location today and had a wonderful experience. I lived in NYC for twenty years, and had the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had today at this deli. The desserts were over-sized and very good too. The service was first-rate and the food came promptly. Only complaint was that it is not a cheap place to eat. The prices are a little high, but this is Westport and they seem to take a lot of time preparing their foods, so it makes sense. You can't eat in a town such as Westport and expect to get a deli sandwich for $4.00--it's just not going to happen. I would definitely go back again. Only other complaint is that I ate everything...
I had the Pastrami Reuben with fries, and the sandwich was excellent. The fries were decent but definitely needed some salt. The wait time was reasonable. However, I was taken aback by the total of $22.50 with tax, especially since there were no prices displayed. You can find a similar sandwich with fries at Spotted Horse for around $17.
Cute decor and a great location for those that want to spend a day shopping, but $19 for a turkey sandwich boggled the mind, given that the sandwich was dry and far from overstuffed . If you are looking for an authentic Jewish deli, don 't be lazy like I was and go to Gold 's Deli instead.
If the menu item says grilled and then you bake it instead, don't be surprised if your patron is dissatisfied. The shrimp on my salad are tough and have not an ounce of moisture in them. Waitress was sweet, but manager appeared not to care.

When sat with a few friends I was asked by a waitress you know you have to pay right? this was before i had even ordered. I then received a piece of cherry pie with mold on the bottom. I would give zero stars if i could.
You would think a meatball HERO would arrive on a sub bun...nope two lousy, dry meatballs with a tablespoon of sauce smushed between two slices of white bread. This is a deli, a hero is a hero not a soggy sandwich.
$17.89 for a ham egg and cheese. Large coffee, and a hamantashen. There was only one piece of ham on the sandwich as well. There is a reason that the big menu board shows no prices. Obscene.

Very overpriced, however tasted very good. The pickles came free and were yummy as well.
