Small, modest eatery with above average Japanese fare. Ordered a soft shell crab, combi set (shrimp tempura and beef teriyaki) which came with salad and miso soup and a lovers sushi roll. The servers are Japanese, which helped to increase the food credibility. The miso soup came first and boy, it taste good! The soft shell crabs didn't quite look the way we usually expect them to look, the presentation was also not very appealing. This is one of those times that we remind ourselves to not judge a book by its cover! Really good soft shell crabs! Last night, my family ordered takeout from Ryu Sushi, and we were pleasantly surprised by the new owners and their revamped menu. The new menu highlights sushi rolls, and I ordered three regular rolls and four specialty rolls. Each roll was artistically prepared and absolutely delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every roll was nicely presented in the takeout box. The outdoor seating area was packed, and there was a constant flow of customers picking up their orders. I called ahead to request that my order be ready by a specific time, and it was prepared perfectly. The service was excellent, and the sushi was fantastic!
This is a great everyday sushi place. I 've been here for lunch 4-5 times. They have a great sushi special for about $11 that comes with salad and soup. The outdoor patio is a great option for a late lunch and I can pick-up xfinity wifi from this place in case I want to do a little work. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The decor is fairly plain, but then that 's why I call it a great everyday place. Simple, fast, great quality sushi at a great price.
I visited this restaurant years ago and loved it. After hearing about changes in management and a decline in quality, I was a bit concerned. However, we decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised to find it just as excellent as we remembered! After the management change at Ryu a year ago, we stopped visiting because we weren't fans of the new menu. However, we decided to give it another try following their recent menu update. We were delighted by the excellent quality of the sushi and the addition of ramen. We're definitely going back!
Dine-in experience: The staff is friendly, and there's plenty of space to enjoy your meal without feeling crowded. My favorite dish is the noodle soup. Takeout experience: The rolls and sushi are smaller compared to other Japanese restaurants. Overall, I would rate Ryu Sushi Bistro a 5 out of 5!
This is one of two places I'd consider having sushi at. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the sushi is delicious and made with some of the freshest-tasting fish I've ever had. It's also pretty cool to get complimentary edemame when you sit down.
Yesterday we were here for the first time. But... it's certainly not the last. We had a good time with the excellent service, with the excellent meal and wine and with the decent costs. We'll be back soon. Book a table now
New favorite sushi place in town! I got the philly roll, gyoza, and shrimp/ veggie tempura. So fresh! Service was excellent! Super friendly staff! Will be back soon.
