Thanksgiving at Saddle Ranch was great; food and service were wonderful and the value is wonderful. ONE THING, and I know this is not a big deal but, we had to wait over 20 minutes to get our dessert and it was not served as advertised. The apple pie did not come with ice cream and the pumpkin pie did not come with whipped cream. We asked the server and he said he also thought we should have gotten ice cream and whipped cream but the kitchen told him no. Why did we have to wait so long for dessert and why was it not served as advertised?
for our 6:45 dinner reservation and said that would wait about 35 minutes what it was. (heared the hostess say some “walking-ins” that the waiting time is an hour. we finally took place and the server was super-had appetizer and so much eat! everything was great and had left a box home. besides waiting (it was thanksgiving,) everything was great (paid $10 for valet, plus $5 tip.) they don't want to go around trying to find parking, do around)
the service was really bad. we have made reservations, but that doesn't mean anything they have told us, that means they put them at the top of the list. the service was terrible. 3 of the 8 commands were wrong. we ordered 2 coffees and after 5 times (and I am not exaggerated) we finally asked to cancel it and take off the bill as we have never received it. it was a very bad 3 hours experience. Yes, 3 hours!
I made reservations for 10 for a birthday party and when we arrived (on time) we were told we’d have to sit outside otherwise it could take at least another hour. This is why a made a rez in the first place. We were seated outside in the former parking, which was hardly worth the visit. Fun place to celebrate an event, but could use better organization.
