This is a lovely store that offers a wide range of international products. They have a good selection of spices and dried goods. There are also delicious desserts available, including gelato, baklava, cookies, and some delightful chocolate cherry candies with brandy filling—absolutely fantastic! I also tried the spanakopita (spinach pie), which was outstanding. When I visited, the shop wasn't crowded, making it easy to browse through the various items. It's definitely worth a visit, and I found the prices to be reasonable. The woman who assisted us was very kind, helpful, and sincere. I will certainly be returning!
The pastry section is delightful, featuring various types of baklava, as well as a selection of halva and gelato. They also offer a variety of alcoholic beverages and unique drink options that are hard to find elsewhere. This place truly feels like an international market, with many unique products you won’t come across in nearby stores.
Just a heads up, masks are required for entry, and there’s parking available in the back. Be mindful that they close at 5:00 p.m. every day.
This is an international supermarket that is very clean and has a friendly atmosphere. The owner is incredibly nice. The best part is that they offer Russian food, along with Tula gingerbread, Buratino, kvass, and much more. If you think the prices are a bit high, you can always drive to Hartford or New York and spend much more on gas, haha. I've been shopping here for 2-3 years now, and I am very satisfied with the service.
I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered falafel, but instead, I received a falafel wrap. It seemed like the food had been pre-prepared and was sitting out for a while. It wasn't appetizing at all, and I ended up throwing away most of it.

As a Lebanese person, I am delighted to find high-quality Lebanese cuisine. The kibbee, grape leaves, and other dishes are consistently fresh. I really enjoy ordering takeout from this place. Keep up the excellent work!
They have an amazing deli where you can get things like falafel wraps with tsadziki (sp? sauce. There is also a large variety of middle eastern grocery items. Definately someplace to go for lunch and shopping!
Wonderful little store. Great homemade Middle Eastern food, delicious gyros. The refill Artisan balsamic vinegar is thick and tastes like the really expensive stuff but it's $13. So glad they are in New London
This is a lovely market that everyone can appreciate. I really liked the gentleman who used to work there when the store was on Bank Street. It's a shame they lost him!
