Saffron Mediterranean Cuisne

I came to this restaurant because I have a friend that orders takeout here, for me, to taste food similar to the food in his home country. I decided to take my mom so that she could experience the food. The food was quite delicious but the service was not so great and the food is overpriced for what it is. It says $10 to $20 but our meal was $40 per person. No wonder there are so many expensive vehicles in the parking lot lol. They need more staff and we could not help but feel that they purposely gave us bad service because we are African American. I tried a few different menu items, and they were all pretty underwhelming for the price. I’ve eaten at a couple dozen Mediterranean restaurants, and this one didn’t have anything that impressed me. Service wasn’t great either. Barely any interaction with the waiter other than filling our waters when we got there, taking our order, and getting our checks. We didn’t even get everything we ordered, but luckily those things also weren’t added to the check. The food we got was fine, but there’s better food and better service elsewhere. Based on other reviews, maybe we just went on a bad day.

The food was **** amazing the waiter he was extremely patient and kind. Took his time to explain the menú items and recommended the best choices base on our taste and preferencias I recomend this place for certain .

my daughter and I had lunch here today and it was amazing! the best in the city! we are sad that we have waited so long to try it! will be back regularly!

Fesenjoon was sweet and savory but the chicken was tough and dry. The silversare and dish had stains, so we wiped them ourselves.
