I ordered chicken tikka masala the sauce was good but the chicken wasn?t tender as if the chicken was cooked separately and then soaked in the masala sauce for that reason the chicken taste plain and was difficult to chew. Also I didn?t like the rice it looks like basmati rice and thinner and was mashed a little bit. Finally ordered the dessert halwa It was very very sweet I left half of the cup. It is carrot with raisins, nuts and spices but I will not order it again. As for the service it was very good has no complaints from the service for the service I gave 3 stars however for food I should give 2
Not going to the debate of which Indian restaurant is the best in the valley, but this is definitely a good one. There are many branches and this one has a part of it's menu unique to it. We tried the dosa (both masala and chicken and while the serving size is great, the chicken one was somewhat sweet (whaaat! and the sambar was quite bland. The hakka noodles was great , both portion size wise and flavor wise. I really like spicy food so I took the hot one and it was really hot!
Terrific experience! It was my very first time trying Indian food and it was so delicious and fresh. We asked for the tomato and coconut curry with rice and shrimp. The beer was so good too! Good prices. Customer service on POINT! Servers were so kind and patience. I will definitely come back to this place. This location was so cozy and comfortable. this place and its menu is ideal if you are starting on the way of trying different flavors.
One of the best authentic Indian food in Salt Lake City area. They offer a wide variety of dishes and we have tried many of it and everything seem delicious. I am not very fond of fishes, but the Fish Amritsari of Saffron Valley is too good to resist. I just love it. From rice items Biriyani is okay, but I prefer the curry items with naan/paratha. Will highly recommend this place if you like Indian food.
