Took an employee out for a celebratory dinner after a long week. Both ordered rice bowl with drinks. My chicken was okay. He ordered seafood and told me after the shrimp were overcooked and like rubber balls. Unfortunate. The fish sauce smelt appaling but food was ok.The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was okay until a lady came in smelling of perfume which in the small space impacted the taste of the food as well as created an allergic reaction with my employee. The lady behind me was so close she kept hitting my chair with her own.Bathrooms were not overly clean.Value for money not great.. but now-a- days I guess is average, especially for Nanaimo. Unfortunately...

The food is good, nothing to fancy but never the less very enjoyable. Not to expensive; it hit the averge spending price which is 30$ per person. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was very nice and food came in a timly manner. Took a minute for my coffe but that happens. Overall a good place to stop if you need a bite to eat.Vegetarian options: A large variety of vegetarian/vegan options and gulten free as well.Parking: Parking is easy to find.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free options on the menu which is always nice.

Best beef pho broth I have had since moving to the island. They even substituted some of the meat for tofu and veggies as that's how I like my pho. Regular crispy spring rolls weren't on the menu but they made those for us as well which were also extremely delicious and a very fair portion, enough for two people. The owner Ray was kind enough to chat with us and seemed very passionate about the food! Highly reccomend

Really love this gem of a restaurant. Good food, family owned and quiet. Like most places, the prices have gone up but we still find it reasonable for the quality.
