"I had a disappointing experience at the Sainsbury’s in Stanmore due to the behaviour of a staff member who seemed on some kind of a power trip. Rather than being helpful or courteous, was confrontational and unnecessarily rude during our interaction. As a customer, I expect basic respect and professionalism, which was clearly lacking in this instance. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure other customers aren’t subjected to the same treatment."

To close the store for renovation, and then a few weeks later another complete revamp without closing the store, the latter with no notice, is amateur at best. Not sure what management are trying to achieve but staff are clueless and have no idea where anything is anymore because of the new layout. The shop is all over the place in terms of placement of items and no logic behind it. As a bare minimum, why would there not be temp boards to show where items have been moved to? The queues have got even worse with the self serving machine dependency and reduction of a staffed checkout. An everyday shop now adds 20-30 mins time because of how unhelpful staff are and items being all over the place...

Always moving products around and the staff have no idea where things are. Took me 20 mins to find a regular purchase today because there was no rhyme or reason to the choice of placement. In fact I was told, 'it must have been discontinued. ' Someone asked where the newspapers were and the staff member said, 'I don 't know! ' She made no attempt to find out. Took my six items to the tobacconist and told me I had to go to self service because they will only take five. Seriously! I have been stopped for 'shoplifting ' by security twice, but they let actual shoplifters walk out with bags of unpaid goods.
