Several times I have come to this place as a nearby option, but the truth is that the quality is very poor. I ate some udon with chicken, which were overcooking the pasta and the chicken, without any flavor, a miso soup that looks more like water. I reminded myself that I shouldn't have come back because that's how I lost my money the last time, the service from the arrogant Chinese girl because she knows that she will charge you the tip even if you're alone eating, I'll remember not to come back.
Update: We returned a couple of weeks ago, and the service was unfortunately lacking. To our surprise, they added a gratuity to our bill for just the two of us. While I don’t mind this practice, it was a bit strange since they didn’t inform us beforehand, and it was the first time this had happened in the years we've been coming here. I'm still trying to understand why.
Been going to this place for years and always enjoyed the food and service. I was there last night, and lucky I double checked by bill. They are now adding on a compulsory 18% service charge. I always tip well, but do not appreciate this enforced 'tax '. I didn 't this new charge anywhere in the menu, FYI.
I usually get takeout since I live a block away. I did dine in once and it was great!! Food is always awesome, the sushi’s are the best… other food items are also really good. Attached a picture of my food the last time I got it.

The food was great. I started with miso soup and chicken yakitori, and for my main dish, I had a spicy tuna poke bowl. The portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend this restaurant! The Thai iced tea was also excellent.
