today was my first day to visit this restaurant. I was so excited to taste the food, it was good. as I and my spouse had gone forward, one of the employees rushes into the counter immediately, provided we would probably just walk out. I then said one of the other workers: “She doesn’t have to be so rude, I wanted to pay,” everything she did was smile. I felt so profiled here, up to the point where I would never come back nor recommend any “COLORED african AMERICAN” coming because if they get up to pay, they will assume that they go out the door. They had a good selection of food. It was good. However I was displeased with my service of my waiter. She was more interested in how much she was gonna be tipped and kept rushing to tables that were leaving as if to see if she had been tipped. She never came to ask us for refills or anything. She only showed back up when it was time for us to leave and looked at my ticket to see how much her tip was before she even said anything. I always tip 20 percent and above and I didn't like the fact that I tipped her 20 percent for what I felt was poor service.
We're transplants to Georgia from Virginia. For months, we were disappointed with our eating out experiences, until we found Sakura's. Fresh oysters on the bar, great hibachi, and wonderful soups that aren't greasy. Wonderful customer service, clean, and well-stocked. We eat here least once a week. Costs a little more than their competitors, but definitely worth the few extra dollars
