Went here for the first time today and already a guaranteed repeat customer. Everything felt very genuine- even the cheap furniture and Styrofoam cups. The food was greasy, salty, and delicious. Definitely closer to comfort food than ' 'clean ' ' eating. They clearly value flavour and authenticity over being sellable to a larger audience and I appreciate that, it 's mean they sell things harder to find in other Indo restaurants around Melbourne. This place serves pretty good indonesian food. Went with my indonesian friends and they said taste is quite authentic to what they have back home. Interior on the other hand can be quite average and dodgy but you would only go there for the food especially the chilli sauce.
