Weird description but they were boring and weird. I couldn’t tell if they were rude or just not into what they have to offer. They have almost no pizza to look at. You just have to ask. I came in asked for. 2 plain and they had to make a whole new pie right there for me to get 2 plain slices. The guy which looks like could be the owner just stared straight at the wall while talking to me. No clue what was going on. Very strange atmosphere. Wasn’t very respectful at all. Had no personality
Went to Sals based on a few recomendations. Was the first customer of the day and was looking forward to a fresh slice of pizza. Asked about the History of Sals and it was apparent that they did not want to converse, so I would let their pizza do the talking..And it whispered and it did talk at all. The crust was the best aspect of the pizza. Little or no sauce and the cheese was average. Overall a less than average experience and slice.
The staff was kind and attentive, and the location is convenient. Prices were great. Ordered a plain cheese slice and garlic bread. Pizza was decent, the garlic bread was a little sad but I didn't try anything else on the menu. I would get a slice there again. Maybe I'll try something else next time I'm in the area.
I stopped here on my way to the Jersey Shore in Pennsylvania, and it's a shame they're three hours away from home! The pizza was really good, but the zeppolis were even better—delicious! Sal was fantastic and very kind. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Book a table now
Me and my boyfriend ordered garlic knots and just 2 slices of Sicilian pizza and everything tasted amazing even the dipping sauce which tasted like it was homemade! Which is even better Pretty good prices too.
nice little Mom and Pop operation. better than average jalapeno poppers, very good, not very greasy garlic knots. pizza was ok, the dough and cheese were good but the sauce was almost non-existent.
This is a fantastic family-owned restaurant with a truly wonderful staff. The owners are always incredibly friendly during my visits, and the food is absolutely delicious!
