I was in the Jackson, Mississippi area for business and I got here kind of late and was just undecided what to have after I found out that a restaurant that I usually go to, the Lost Cajun, was not open on this particular evening I ended up heading over do this particular restaurants and in hindsight, I have to say that I am glad that I did. For starters, the service was very good. They brought me the chips and salsa and I have to say that while a lot of places will let me down, I enjoyed the chips and salsa here. The menu is huge so it was a bit tough to decide what I wanted to eat. With the recommendation of my server, I went with the California Burrito. Whenever I see the words California...
Look at other reviews! The hostess (about 4'11 and maybe 20 something) is ruining this restaurant's reputation! If you have been treated rudely by one of their employees PLEASE submit a review!!! All we did was walk in and immediately were treated rudely!!! I have NEVER had a hostess be soooo rude!! She made it very obvious we weren't welcome there! She was maybe 5ft and around 20 something incase you encounter her. We asked for two high chairs, she repeated what we asked, rolled her eyes and started walking towards a table and she didn't tell us to follow her. Threw the menus on the table and walked off!!! Never said a word to us or brought our high chairs!!! The workers were on their phone...
Every time I eat here I get poor service. Ordered 2 tacos. Waited and waited. Had to ask for chips. Had to ask for more salsa. Queso dip took forever m, arriving at my table with my tacos. No straw, no napkins. Room temperature tacos. What is you guys problem? Only ONCE have I ever received good service here in the last 2 years and that is because I came with my Mexican friend! Yes we had great service and food that day, but no other time. Says it all. Unacceptable period. Get it together Salsa's! Be consistent and fair will ya! Disappointing.
We were driving back home to Missouri from a Florida trip and stopped in Richland for the night, I always like to go to somewhere that we don't have around home so checked out the map and the reviews and ratings and decided on Salsa's Grill, A got right in, food was delivered quick even with our party of 8! And my my my homemade tortillas, delicious fajitas, huge menu, good price for huge portions! Everyone Loved it! Try it out!

The restaurant offers an extensive variety of entrees. We arrived expecting typical Mexican fare, but were pleasantly surprised. The homemade tortillas were delightful, and we unanimously agreed that their rice was the best we've tasted. Our group of seven each ordered different dishes, and we all felt it was the best Mexican food we had enjoyed in years. We were so glad we chose to dine here during our one night in Pearl.
The food was fantastic—some of the best guacamole I've ever had! However, the server assigned to us seemed to be a manager or something, as he was juggling too many tasks and wasn't very attentive. Thankfully, some of the other staff stepped in and they were wonderful. I will definitely give this place another shot because that guacamole was truly outstanding!
The only reason this place got one star is because I can't put a negative star. I ordered a large cheese dip and a large guacamole. They gave me one bag of chips. When I asked for another bag they charged me nearly $5 for a bag of chips. I get home and the guacamole looks like green soup. No wonder no one goes there. I certainly will never go again.
Food was delicious! The staff was prompt, not rude at all. Restaurant was packed but service was still punctual. The chips were nice and warm and crisp. Our meal was hot and oh so delicious! I had the shrimp fajita taco salad so yummy! And the Chile reyene poblano so packed with flavor. Would definitely eat here again.

Love this place. Last night I got the Carnitas. Pork was cooked perfectly and you can't beat their fresh made tortillas. Always love coming to this place.
