My wife and i both agree the Salty is a terrific bar and restaurant, weve been regulars for several years now. Modern design with relaxed old school service, always respectful and professional with meals we always enjoy. Last week i accidentally left my wallet on the bar and had no idea id lost it till early evening when i needed it. When i called the bar i was happy to hear my wallet was safe and sound with cash untouched (which i never doubted) Great staff and great patrons, love the Salty.
Terrible experience, Food cold, dry and over cooked, fried rice was more like dried rice, so call pizza was just re-hashed left overs, chicken nuggets were so hard the kids couldn't eat them, they didn't fill the empty dishes so very poor selection - desserts were dried horrible left overs, no vanilla ice-cream. Tables weren't cleared at all and the clean plates and cutlery was empty a lot of the time. Overall really disappointing and disgusting. We will never go back there.
Partner and I visited for buffet on a Saturday night as a dinner out. Good variety and service - but most food was cold or room temp (even the hot food) and some of it appeared very not fresh - both of us were very sick in early hours of morning and the Sunday which followed - we couldn't narrow down what item on buffet but did not eat anywhere else that week.Would only go back if food standards were lifted in terms of freshness and quality especially for price paid
A friendly local Pub, with nice meals, not too expensive and a family friendly atmosphere. They have the usual Dining area, Pokies and Sports Bar. They are outside areas where you can sit and enjoy a Drink and have a smoke if you wish. Walking distance from the Gold Coast Holiday Park. Book a table now
Buffet is good value for money. Mostly continental food with a bit of Asian food. Dessert has its own table! Dinner is more expensive, but has expensive food such as prawn and salmon. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and spacious dining area.
The buffet price increases at random. Was $25.50 in Thursday GCB, booked for Friday night and increased by $3 per person by Fri pm. When questioned the staff were rude. Also rude in the restaurant. Food was quite nice
This restaurant has the worst management I have ever seen. Their operations are unbelievable, and it's no wonder why so many venues and restaurants are closing down. It's a complete joke.
Ladies from Tranquility Gardens had lunch today and what a delicious feast. The portions, main and dessert were huge and beautifully cooked, staff were beautiful. Thank you! Book a table now
Great food. Good value. Great choice. I have to go there early, otherwise the food goes very fast. But good value for money. Dessert was great.
