Salte Cafe - Table reservation

We had traveled from Britain to Ferntree Gully to catch up with a dear friend who is a local. She beat morning tea in this small café a short walk from the train station. She sang his praise, and she was right! What a beautiful spot. It has a little of a shaded chic, vintage feel to it, with its distinctive limestone walls and wooden tables and chairs. It was busy, but a table was reserved for us a reasonable movement. We all had an excellent coffee, freshly brewed to our wishes. My long black was strong, robust and balanced, as I like it. Live on the other side of Melbourne came over this way to head up the Dandenong ranges and came across the salte cafe with a friend I had the salte breakfast my friend had the smashed avocado bth meals were good and plentiful hit the...spot The poached eggs were right on when you cut them them ran over the toast Service and staff were also great would recommend will come here again

Came here with my wife for Brunch staff Welcomes us with smiling faces and bubbly enthusiasm order of two coffees My wife ordered the vegetarian breakfast Even I ordered the eggs on sourdough with bacon fried tomatoes and chorizo It was great to go out and... in and more to eat delicious well cooked food with great taste and flavors Hidden gems recommend a must

We found this place on Instagram and on the 40-minute road to get there. We were not disappointed! Incredible food, great vegan and vegetarian options. Value for money and everything with a smile! Very recommended.
