My family has been dining at Pine Tavern for many years. On our most recent visit, we sat on the patio and enjoyed the perfect temperature with a gentle breeze. We were a group of six people. Unfortunately, the Rueben sandwich was quite dry, lacking in 1,000 Island dressing. Additionally, one member of our party ordered ginger ale and was surprised to find out that refills were not complimentary and was charged for a second drink. We all agreed that the server should have clarified that this was a beverage from the bar and not included in the free refills. Despite these mishaps, we still had a lovely time together.
Great atmosphere and ambiance. The setting for outdoor dining-along the river with a wonderful deck and patio-makes for a wonderful summer dining experience. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not amazing. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Bend.
We have been before and really enjoyed it. This time we were disappointed. We were there for a birthday celebration. The process to be seated was very unorganized. Our service was very slow. They appeared to be understaffed.
We were able to sit out on the patio and had just a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and the people were friendly and attentive. It seems they've remodeled it and it looks better than ever

First and foremost, I must mention that the complimentary half loaf of warm, crunchy seeded Italian bread (served with butter) was absolutely delicious.
This is a go-to place for us on Sunday afternoons because of the consistently good food, lovely atmosphere, and attentive service.
Beautifully scenic outdoor seating. The food was average, but the view of Mirror Pond made up for it.
HUGE PORTION ALERT!!! - Please don't waste food, take it home or give it to someone who needs it.
