This place is a hole in the wall but can be spotted by their outdoor dining setup. The place inside is small and can seat around ten people maximum. I tried to dine in, but apparently, they have a rule that states that you can't eat inside unless you order $15 worth of food. On a normal day, I can, but I just wanted samossas as that's what they're known for at the restaurant. I went with 2 other people, and we all chose samossas, which is what the restaurant is named, and they just wanted to take out.The person at the register didn't really help us out. Friendly service, the workers were very accommodating (turning on the fan so we could eat comfortably outside, turning down the music the outside seating was like a cozy hut which was nice on a hot sunny day. The waiter asked what spice level we wanted which was very nice especially if you are not accustomed to ordering Indian cuisine. Samosa Bites is small, quaint, cozy and friendly. The person working was welcoming and helpful. The menuis substantial so I am grateful for the patience of the worker.I chose the eponymous samosa. It comes 4 per order. It came out hot and fresh and quite tasty! The two sauces were equally tantalizing. I enjoyed this experience and will return to try out the other items on the menu.What a cool little place to happen upon in the middle of the otherwise industrial part of Astoria.Wishing you well with lots of customers in the coming months ??
We’ve only gotten delivery from Samossa Bites but their food is fantastic! The pizzas are delicious they have the best butter chicken I’ve ever tasted. And I’m Indian and very picky with my Indian food but this place never disappoints.Food: 5/5
