I just arrived in Phoenix from Orlando and was looking for a nearby diner as I can't eat before or during my flight. I found one near the airport and decided to try their Machaco breakfast burrito. It was large and unique, with a flaky pastry crust instead of a traditional tortilla. The Machaca meat was delicious and they even gave me a choice of two salsas, one spicy and one even spicier! The food was excellent, they offer carry-out options, and the restaurant has 9 tables inside with a very friendly staff. We used Scratch/Sam’s Diner for our daughters 1st Birthday party (Hawaiian Luau) and are beyond satisfied with the quality of food and service we received! Giovanna was great to work with and came up with a menu that fit both our budget and party theme. The food was delivered on time and ready to go. We loved the food, it was fresh and delicious! The tuna wontons were a huge hit! The pork and chicken were super moist and the kids sliders and chicken tenders were great. The portions were very generous. We highly recommend Scratch for your party needs and we will definitely be using them again in the future!
This is our go to spot for business lunches since it is right down the street from our office. We typically order ahead of time and bring different sandwich options to our clients. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious.I personally love the build your own omelette. It’s so easy to add what you like, and I love the different potato options.I would also highly recommend grabbing some chocolate chips cookies for your afternoon coffee break.Seating is limited inside, but we’ve always been able to grab a table when there’s just a few of us.
The staff were extremely friendly and patient. The food came out very quickly and was fresh. It had a cute atmosphere and was super clean. The prices were very fair especially considering the close proximity to the airport and the portion of food provided. I highly recommend supporting this small business!Vegetarian options: They had a decent selection of vegetarian options. We did not try them this trip, but look forward to doing so the next time we are in the area.

The food just ain't the same, I noticed the price go up but the quality has not it used to taste so fresh, the meat, veggies an all now taste processed. At one point I couldn't even bite the burger cause it was so big then I go back n it was significantly smaller. The taste is there but the freshness is gone.
I had breakfast here, and holy-smokes that omelet was phenomenal! Not too moist, not to fluffy…Presentation was superb! If I ever come back to Phoenix, I’m definitely trying out the Grilled Shrimp Burrito on their menu. Definitely a “MUST-EAT”! ???(Sorry there were no photos; me and wife were hungry)
This restaurant serves the best burritos and pancakes in town. We ate inside and everything was very clean. We met the owner, who took the time to chat with us. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend paying a visit.
This is a true gem. Hidden in an industrial park near sky.harbour. we stopped here running errands. My wife jad the fried chicked while I had the Cubano both came oit fast and were excellent.
