Sam's Original Resturant Bbq

Always love this place! The buffet is excellent with delectable bbq, Southern delights like fried chicken, okra…all entrees are prepared with care. Our vegetarian gal approved the salad bar; our limited eating boy even approved the toast. Oh, and save room for the award-winning coconut cream pie— the peach was good, too! Lots of choices here for even the fussy eaters!

Great service and yummy bread. Unfortunately the BBQ dishes did a number on our stomachs. We think it was the ribs because they smelled odd and didn’t taste good. We only had a little, but apparently that was enough. Made for a unpleasant ride to Dallas (with lots of pit stops).

They have a great buffet, or you can order a meal... we did the buffet, and they had a nice salad bar and plenty of choices... I enjoyed the fried catfish and shrimp... Recommend for any meal

Smallish selection at the buffet but good. Service was outstanding. Enjoyed the homemade bread the brisket they were the stars. Bread pudding was good as well. Book a table now

Sam's has a wonderful buffet, or you can order off the menu. Food is excellent, wait staff is very attentive and prices are quite reasonable.

Chicken fried steaks had no flavor. Everything else was ok. Deserts very good.
