I was browsing the little shops on the street between the Cathedral and Alcazar and had a great conversation with one of the shopkeepers who recommended this restaurant in the valley below the old city wall. It was a beautiful walk on a path clearly marked from the Alcazar down to the the little streets in the valley below. Cross the bridge and follow the street and around the corner is San Marcos restaurant on the corner. The menu of the day is highly recommended. I went for an early lunch mid afternoon and sat inside the bar at one of the 5 tables. Soy una segovia y cada vez que mi familia tiene que celebrar algo que los 5 de nosotros van allí... la comida es grande y el trato es impecable. He estado con mi familia muchas veces y dos veces hemos hecho la cena de Navidad con mis compañeros de clase de la universidad y espero que este año podamos hacerlo de nuevo allí.
We spend a good time with friends and locals in this restaurant, tasting tapas and beer. Very nice and fast service. Located near the Alcazar and near our apartment. Generous portions and a wide variety of options. We taste too, some seafood and octopus dishes.Reasonable prices.Highly recommended.
A great traditional lunch experience at the patio. Octopus, pigs ears and a roasted pig a.o treats. Great red wine. If you are not big fan of greasy stuff the pigs eat and the roast might be a bit much. Otherwise; Just great! Service was OK. Serves OK tapas throughout the day at the inside bar.

We stopped here for a drink on our walk across the valley from the Alcazar to the Vera Cruz church. Good local atmosphere, nice tapas, very reasonable prices. Wished that we had time for a meal in the restaurant.
