I ordered for pick up 40 mins before closing. I ordered a combo plate and was told their side options were rice, miso soup and salad I asked for one of each. When I arrived for pick up I was told they actually ran out of miso soup so if I wanted extra rice or salad. I asked if I could just get a discount since they didn’t tell me they ran out of Miso soup at time of order. I was told that wasn’t an option. Part of me wanted to just cancel the whole order, but I was starving and had other things on schedule so I just took it. Went home and I go three sides of rice??. They charged me extra for chicken breast (unrequested). Shrimp tempura was ok, but everything was cold. $23 for an order I was...
It was enjoyable to return to this restaurant today, but my experience was not as great this time. The portion sizes have significantly decreased. The food was still delicious, however, I was disappointed by the small portion provided with the chicken dishes. Additionally, there was a noticeable smell of eggs as soon as we entered the restaurant.
For my first order at San Sai Japanese Grill, I had noodles with pork and a side of California rolls. The portion was quite small considering the $30 price, which felt rather expensive for the quantity. That said, the food was flavorful. I’m not sure I’ll order from here again.
The food is decent, but the 15-20 minute wait for a single chicken bowl isn’t justified. They have enough staff—three in the kitchen and three at the front—yet the order preparation is still surprisingly slow.

This place is always great! Most of time I order the chicken teriyakiplate with California rolls and 2 types of salads and it's really good but they have so many options,the pot stickers are really good too!
I visited San Sai Japanese Grill once with a friend, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The amazing atmosphere combined with delicious food and drinks always exceeds my expectations. They never let me down.
I ordered the spicy crunch tempura roll and it exceeded my expectations. I am excited to try more items from the menu. I was so impressed that I couldn't even take a photo in time!
Best tempura vegetables .. outside seating is best id skip the inside tables the angel is over whelming..
