I only popped into 'Sanders chippy ' as it was one of the only local chippies that is open at lunchtime until 2pm, when I seen the prices though I went all light headed and nearly walked straight back out of the door again, BUT I 'm pleased that I didn 't! I ordered a small cod medium chips, which, after a short wait, were ready and packaged in a largish box. The food was all steaming hot and to my surprise, had a really decent portion of crispy golden chips and a good-sized fillet of perfectly cooked crispy golden battered cod. The portion was actually bigger than many large portions that I have previously ordered elsewhere. Waiting times weren 't too long, the food was very tasty perfectly...
We visited here recently. The fish chips mushy peas were very good especially the fish. Restuarant was clean tidy quiet. We were served promptly by a pleasant lady. My one complaint would be that we had absolute minuscule portions one tiny ramekin each of sauce I would say it was barely a dessert spoonful. All the more so, considering the cost 15.50 I was surprised the waitress did not even say’ just ask if you would like more’ In my opinion it was very mean indeed. Also, the waitresses nails were dirty, which was rather off putting!
Have to say , having being very disappointed on several occasions with the Hayle based Sanders foundry square as so many I know were as well, Sanders based in pool Redruth, is a complete opposite, all staff member's are exceedingly pleasant and polite , we have virtually gone through the menu here now , and every dish was awesome , in size and taste , nothing is to much hassle for the staff 100% recommend the restaurant, with amble parking to .
Fantastic! Our first visit, all be it they took a little time to serve us, but they were extremely busy at the time. Food arrived quickly, good portion, they were the best chips I've had for a long time, atmosphere was great, decor super, staff amazing, will certainly be visiting again, and recommend to friends and family. Had a gluten free cod chips. It was the best I’ve ever had ! Down staying with family along agar rd. staff were very. Pleasant wonderful place to go wish you had one in Trowbridge Wiltshire.
One of the best fish and chips I’ve had recently. This is our fourth visit and it has not let us down. Staff where very helpful. We all look forward to a return visit.

Decent fish and chips not too greasy and the haddock is tasty. Resteraunt looks intersiting but not tryd it yet.
