It's a passage in the show "the escapades de petitrenaud" on france5 that made us know this place where street cuisine really has to make dream! the restaurant is decorated with taste in the mixed bakery/burger style. service and smiling and what it feels good. You cross those who come to buy their baguette and those who come to eat whatever they come from, everyone is happy to go through it. burgers are very copied and super tasty. It smells the right product from end to end and the inspiration of the menus is well present in each plate. There are not only burgers and the tables around there also had nice plates but I haven't tasted yet... special puppet with artisanal soda too: to discover...
I enjoyed a fantastic Japanese-French hybrid restaurant. Today's lunch menu was full of vegetables and so healthy. Candy may be the best toulouse! next time, I have to come in week to try the Japanese chef "macrobiotic obento" araki, I was impressed to make a super healthy Japanese-style French restaurant. Today we have a gaspacho of summer vegetables with lots of vegetables and ookonomiyaki (also full of seasonal vegetables). dessert is the highest level in france. next time, I want to come and eat a macrobiotic lunch in the week only!
Footsore from wandering around Toulouse looking for a lighter lunch than is on offer at most restaurants we stumbled upon Sandyan. The English-speaking server guided us through the ordering procedure with charm, despite the grumpy attention of a unhappy Uber delivery biker. We had a jamon sandwich (delicious) and a burrata salad (equally delicious). A great venue for a light lunch (and you get to watch the carousel if you manage to bag a window seat).
Who said street food and gastronomic was not compatible? sandyan, sandyan, you can enjoy the specialities of street cuisine revisited with yannick delpech sauce. a chichi-free service served on trays and with wood cutlery (like in any fastfood) but the kitchen is worth a visit. duck burgers are to fall, fresh fruit juices and desserts that complement the menu are also homemade and excellent: one of the best lemon pies I had the opportunity to taste!

I had heard only good echoes on the sandyan side restoration but I was disappointed when I found it: expensive menus, plastic cutlery, few tables to settle, gustative quality of the disappointing meal except the dessert that was excellent! small pastry to the pastry that is right next door: no one to welcome us. we stayed 15 minutes in the shop waiting to pay then we left without buying anything at the end.
The vanilla flan is the best I tasted in Toulouse: excellent! Paris-Brest is delicious! The other beautiful pastries are to be discovered! The galette of the kings with the frangipane is perfect, and the pistache-griotted cake a delight!!!
Buy 1 pistachio frangipane / excellent scrub a crown of kings :patoe, not really taste, no fruit confits inside.. Semble date... 51€...a test but I wouldn't turn
