Decent food, great ice cream.... New ownership... loved it last summer. First trip in this summer, and the woman behind the counter decided to go out for a cigarette, (last Friday, 4/9) in view of her customers right when a line had just formed. Reluctantly, I ordered food anyway and was sorry I did because the chain effect of starting behind only snowballed and we waited forever! Understanding this could be an isolated incident, as locals we will give it another chance sometime.... but highway travelers be warned, this is not a quick stop in sometimes....
This restaurant is a great place to eat. The staff is friendly, and the food is quite tasty. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors, or even get your meal to go. They offer a wide range of food and drink options, as well as a nice selection of ice cream. Whether you're stopping by for lunch or dinner, you'll find plenty to enjoy!
Sandy's suffered a fire in late July 2022. At first, their Facebook page suggested that they planned to reopen by summer. However, the most recent update now states that they will not reopen before the end of summer, and everything is currently on hold.
What a fantastic place! The food is exceptional, and the family atmosphere is delightful. The staff is remarkably friendly, and I can’t wait to return. Great job, everyone! I would rate it 8 out of 10 stars! Well done!

Every item on the menu is fresh, skillfully prepared, and bursting with amazing flavors. The only drawback was that they had run out of their delightful maple soft serve. But that's just the perfect reason to return!
I went expecting the restaurant to be open until 8 PM, but when I arrived at 7, it was already closed. I was disappointed.
I was looking for a good fish and chips, and while it was decent for the price, it doesn't really make me want to return.
The food was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the onion rings and scallops. However, the milkshake was just mediocre.

They claim to be open until 7 PM, but it's currently 3:12 PM, and the restaurant is closed. It's Sunday, March 13, 2022.
They will be open until tomorrow. It's a great spot for a quick meal!
