Just arrived and after a day of sightseeing 4 of us were ready for a relaxing meal. Started walking and most of the known popular spots which were full but noticed not much food on the tables. We persisted and came across Santa Lucia at 1264 Rue Stanley not far off the main drag. On entering it immediately reminded us of trips to Italy and France, a place that the locals will go to. Glad we dropped in because the service was very efficient and friendly and all our courses were fresh and delightfull. Wine by the carafe for the price was very good value. A great start to our 4 weeks in Canada. Don't let the decor fool you.

Chances are, the chef has probably not ever been to Italy. However, it offers a great alternative to the "standard" steak or hamburger alternatives up & down St. Catherine's. It's as close as you can get to authentic Italian. Excellent quàlity, great selections, good size portions and very good value. In a city where it's easy to drop $25++ on a hamburger, it's good to see a 3-course-meal with soup/salad, main course (in my case VEAL), a dessert and coffee ~ all for LESS than $20.Great location, very professional, attentive & friendly service.

Simple yet delicious. Good portions and the pizza is good. Crust Is crunchy. A bit small for my taste, but none the less good. House wine is perfect, get half a litre and your set! I was here two years ago with a friend visiting from Italy and he was impressed back then. My only pet peeve is they use cream in the carbonara, big non no in my book. 2nd time around in two years and it was still good. Pasta is cooked al dente, what can I say, we all walked out fully satisfied. Service was great. Great staff on hand.

For $8.95 we ordered a Caprese salad. We should have sent it back. Quality of ingredients. Did not expect in The middle of summer to be served a hard unripe small sliced tomatoe with small small slices of cheese, little pesto served on a giant lettuce leaf Pizza was a true disappointment. We ordered two. The crust was the perfect frozen pre made variety. Quality of ingredients were low qualityService was fine Place was tidy and clean This restaurant is outdated and lacks a true quality flavor. Book a table now

So here is the deal with this place. I read lots of reviews and most said the food was good so we decided to try it. Being Italian I am more critical about Italian places but this place was good. Can't complain about the food. It was delicious. I read some reviews about the server not smiling at all. This was true. He doesn't smile but he is nice and always came by. The stone pizza oven is a nice touch. Go try it.

What a wasted opportunity to create decent pizza. A wood burning oven but the pie came out so doughy and the cheese not melted that we could barely stomach it. Garlic bread was a burger bun with garlic powder, not real garlic butter. If you want to take a chance on the pizza, order it well done. Wish I had.Overall a waste of $20 for a 12-inch pizza.Wish I had looked at the pizza before I carried it out.

Location was almost at Ste. Catherine Street. It was a wonderful Italian restaurant and seems to be a mom & pop operation. It was clean and friendly. Although they are not constantly in your face, they do check out your progress whenever they pass your table. The stone-fired pizza seems to be their specialty but we had the veal parmgiana and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a late pizza. Nice thin dry crust cooked in a wood-fired oven. Very good. Not typical Italian, more of a Quebec-inspired style with large pepperoni and Quebec mozzarella but we loved it! Finished with a decaf cappuccino and ice-cold grappa. Nice Belle Guelle pilsner on tap. Although we didn't HAVE one, the calzones look incredible! Would def return. Book a table now

This small quaint trattoria is quite a gem serving authentic Italian cuisine. Soups like minestrone, chicken cappelletti, startacelli and homemade pastas. It also makes excellent pizzas in an authentic wood burning stove. The staff was very friendly.
