The renovations they did in there are fantastic. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. Been there twice now in the last 3 weeks. Once for dinner and Brunch to try out their new brunch menu. The dinner was fine except for the mouse that was running around.Brunch was not good at all. The people at my table who ordered anything with hollandaise sauce said it tasted like chalk. The sauce, is NOT gluten free means that they use flour to thicken the sauce. When hollandaise sauce is made properly it does not require flour and should be gluten free. The inside of my under cooked Greek omelette was closer to hollandaise sauce than what my friends got.I would definitely give this place some time to sort...

The interior of the pub is impressive, and the service has always been excellent. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. However, the establishment could benefit from promoting a more social atmosphere to attract a larger crowd looking to mingle. Presently, it feels more like a restaurant with a small bar in the center. Each group tends to stick to their own table and does not seem inclined to interact with others. The bar in the middle only seems to attract regulars and bar stool sitters. These patrons are not necessarily the most inviting or sociable individuals.

I have visited this restaurant three times since last year and have never had a positive experience with the service. The service has always been mediocre at best. The best service we received was tonight, but even then our server forgot my friend's order of wings and struggled to explain the mistake. I feel sorry for the server as their performance reflects poorly on the management, which clearly does not prioritize customer service. This experience was the final straw for me, and I will not be returning. I was disappointed after my first visit and this was strike three.

Sub-par. Although happy hour drink prices are great, the food is not despite being priced to match inflation. I was very disappointed to be charged extra for requesting mustard on my burger (which had already been upgraded from their basic). Fries also do not come with ketchup. If you’re paying almost $20 for a mediocre meal, it’s ridiculous to be charged the same price as a full bottle of the condiment to get a small squeeze for on top on your dinner. This bar in Sapperton is a hidden gem. The District Beer is one of the best beers I've had in the city. The happy hour deals are incredible, and the staff who work here are very polite and friendly. The bartender, Jack, is very knowledgeable about mixology, and my server, Gaby, was energetic and cheerful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to quench their thirst and have a good time. The food was also really good.

Came here for drinks. I can't comment the food here because we came here after our dinner just for drinks and a place to sit, chill and talk. We were a group of 4. We had a great time just chilling here. The service was good. We were asked if we needed anything a couple of times. We got some beer from the tap. It was not that busy on a Tuesday night. Free parking can be found in the area.

Nice neighbourhood pub in the Sapperton area. Parking is available on the side streets. The pub isn't anything too special. Modern feel. There were a few screens showing various sporting events. Staff were friendly. Beer pricing was reasonable and in line with other places. Can't comment on the food. Wouldn't mind coming back to chill and have a drink.

A huge upgrade from the previous Fireside pub that was in this location! The drinks are good, they had amazing seasonal cocktails at Christmas, and the beer is a good variety. Where there could definitely be some improvement is the staff aren't always super friendly or helpful, and the quality of the food could definitely be improved. Book a table now

what happened to all the great and enthusiastic employees? A pity that this was a big local pub in the past, where you went here weekly. in the last months the service and food quality is downhill. Now brunch's gone too.
